A Thai police official has described Nigerians, especially those from the Igbo ethnic group, as the ”biggest curse” out of Africa.

The police official made the remark while interrogating a suspected Nigerian drug trafficker simple identified as Stanley.

According to the police officer, Stanley was being questioned on suspected drug-related activities.

The policeman alleged that the criminal activities of the Igbos is inimical to Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

”Nigerians are bringing shame on Africa,” he said.

”Nigerians are the curse of Africa and from Nigeria, who is the biggest curse, the Igbos, because they are selfish, they are stubborn, and they lie so well, and that is why proper investigation is needed in order to expose the devil so everyone can see him clearly,” he added.

The policeman also mentioned that one of the biggest drug cartels in Bangkok is operated by Nigerians.

”Do you know why you’ve been stopped today? For drug dealing.

”One of the biggest drug dealing gangs in Bangkok is from Nigeria,” he mentions.

He urged criminal-minded Nigerians to trade different paths other than drawing the country into the muds of derision.

Reacting to the statement of the security personnel, Stanley, who mentioned that he has had no hand in drug dealing, stated that he regrets being a Nigerian.

”I am not proud to be a Nigerian. If I can change my nationality, I will because I am not proud to be a Nigerian.

”Many times I look at myself; despite everything that Nigeria has, Nigerians cannot respect their country,” Stanley said while crying over the phone.
