Why Nigerians cannot pray for President Buhari – FHRACC

The Foundation for Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Crusade, FHRACC, today stated that Nigerians cannot pray for President Muhammadu over his controversial ill-health.

In a statement signed and made available to DAILY POST, FHRACC National President, Alaowei Ebikonbowei, Esq reacted to the call by former Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bisi Akande, that Nigerians should pray for the president.

“Mr. President according to his media handlers is hale and hearty. He is only resting and not sick. It means that the President is doing well and so there is no point for Nigerians to convert a healthy man as sick. We can only pray for him to succeed in his stewardship as the President of our dear Country and not as a sick man. There is no official communication to that effect for Nigerians to be praying and fasting for nothing.”

FHRACC asked Chief Akande to inform Nigerians on what they don’t know about President Muhammadu Buhari’s health that he has knowledge about.

FHRACC urged Chief Akande to appeal to the Presidency and the cabals holding him(President)in ‘limbo’ to update Nigerians on the true position of his health.

“We cannot be a prayer warrior for ghost. As it stands based on the information from the Presidency, Buhari is hale and hearty. Why must these hunger-ridden and economically bastardized Nigerians pray for him.”

FHRACC noted that its expectation is for Chief Akande to advise government to initiate policies that will improve the economy of the country, stressing that,”This APC Government has destroyed almost every sector of the government. Let them restore the country back to where they took over. The unbearable sufferings in the land should be their concern and not the Buhari’s esoteric health issue.”
