In the first week of September, International football clubs in France, Germany, Spain and Italy closed transfer windows after top footballers were successfully transferred to different clubs.

However, in Nigeria, on Monday, history was made in Gano Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano state.

A club known as ”Super Stars, FA league” bought talented footballer Ibrahim Salisu Iriyos from Aston Villa Gano for N5000 ($13.85).

The deal is the most expensive transfer in the history of the town.

The Aston Villa Gano striker, Ibrahim who is one of the club’s top goal scorers said he showed interest in joining Super Stars because they play in divisions above of his former club.
