The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 917 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Saturday.
The 917 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 90,080.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 255 patients from isolation centers across the country with five new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 214 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 31,321.
Federal capital territory recorded 222 new cases, Kaduna state reported 119, Plateau recorded 92, Nasarawa state had 50 while Oyo reported 41 new cases.
Other states are Adamawa-33, Ondo-32, Abia-28, Ogun-19, Rivers-17, Kano-16, Yobe-14, Edo-8, Anambra-6, Ekiti-5, and Jigawa-1.
