The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 1,354 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Saturday.
The 1,354 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 92,705.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 697 patients from isolation centers across the country with five new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 712 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 32,687.
Federal capital territory recorded 145 new cases, Plateau recorded 117, Kwara had 81, Kaduna had 54, Sokoto had 39 while Oyo reported 38 new cases.
Other states are Rivers-37, Gombe-21, Enugu-20, Akwa-Ibom-16, Bauchi-14, Delta-14,Ebonyi-13, Anambra-9, Taraba-8, Edo-8, Kano-3, Osun-2, Ekiti-2, and Ogun-1
