The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 575 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Friday.
The 575 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 31323.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 249 patients from isolation centers across the country with 25 new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 224 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 12051.
Oyo state recorded 85 new cases, FCT reported 68 new cases while Rivers, Kaduna, and Edo recorded 49, 39 and 31 new cases respectively.
Other states are Enugu-30, Delta-11, Niger-10, Katsina-9, Ebonyi-5, Gombe-3, Jigawa-3, Plateau-2, Nassarawa-2, Borno-2, Kano-1 and Abia-1.
NCDC reports that there are 31323 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 12795 discharged and 709 deaths.
