The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 241 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Tuesday.
The 241 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 10819.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 117 patients from isolation centers across the country with 15 new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 142 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 5277.
Oyo state reported 15 new cases while the Federal Capital Territory recorded 13 cases and Kano state reported 12.
Other states are Edo-11, Delta-10, Kaduna -9, Rivers-9, Borno-8, Jigawa-4, Gombe-3, Plateau-3, Osun-1 and Bauchi-1.
NCDC reports that there are 10819 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 3239 discharged and 314 deaths.
