The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 1,270 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Tuesday.
The 1,270 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 102,601.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 1083 patients from isolation centers across the country with 12 new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 435 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 37,310.
Federal Capital Territory recorded 234 new cases, Oyo state recorded 103, Plateau reported 86, Rivers had 46 while Enugu state reported 27 new cases.
Other states are Nasarawa-41, Delta-39, Edo-39, Osun-33, Niger-31, Sokoto-23, Ondo-16, Taraba-13, Ebonyi-12, Kano-10, Abia-9, Bayelsa-8, Bauchi-7, Imo-5, Katsina-3 and Gombe-1.
NCDC reports that there are 102,601 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 81,574 discharged and 1,373 deaths.
