President Bola Tinubu was with other African leaders at the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Tinubu was seen alongside Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan and others at the summit.

Chronicle NG had previously reported that Tinubu arrived in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to attend the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit, which started on January 27.

Tinubu, who arrived at 10:20 p.m. (8:20 p.m. Nigerian time), was received by the foreign minister of Tanzania, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, and the chargé d’affaires of the Nigerian High Commission to Tanzania, Ambassador Salisu Suleiman.

His special adviser on media and public communication, Sunday Dare, said on Monday that the goal is to achieve energy security, affordability, and sustainability.

“He’s not here just for the fun of it. Mr. President will announce a dynamic, compact initiative coming from Nigeria that will help push this agenda forward,” Dare told journalists.

According to reports, Tanzania’s government, the African Union, the African Development Bank Group, and the World Bank Group will host the two-day summit.
