The self-styled Prime Minister of Biafra, Simon Ekpa has threatened more offensive against the Nigerian Army in the South East of the country, describing them as ‘terrorists’.
Ekpa who ascribes to himself the role of the Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in-Exile vowed to increase offensive against the Nigeria military in a series of posts on Wednesday.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, he wrote, “The eviction notice given to Nigeria terrorist, Nigerian Army to leave Biafra territory has expired and our offensive will increase in all state of Biafra in days to come.
The 38-year-old then posted short clips of videos that stated that he was inciting violence against Nigerians while living in Finland.
Reacting to one of the videos, he maligned Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu who first led the fight for secession in the 1967 civil war.
“When their propaganda failed on Simon Ekpa. They should counter-propaganda to fight Simon Ekpa and the man (referring to the video) assured him that they have tried all propaganda against Simon Ekpa. But Simon’s propaganda is still potent.
“Please is this not the same man who was calling the criminal IPOB Nigeria a ghost for supporting the Imo State election? They are struggling to continue their support for IPOB Nigeria.
“Please remind them that we are now a government and not even Ojukwu’s resurrection will stop Biafra Liberation,” he said.
Ekpa, a follower of Nnamdi Kanu, former leader of the Biafra movement has since hijacked Kanu’s movement since he was arrested and incarcerated by the Nigerian government.
Chronicle NG reports that some persons from the South East of Nigeria are backing Ekpa’s eviction declaration.
