    Nigerians laud Tinubu for appointing Tunji-Ojo as Minister of Interior

    President Bola Tinubu has received widespread praise for appointing Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as the Minister of Interior.

    The commendations, which have flooded social media, especially X (formerly Twitter), highlighted the positive impact Tunji-Ojo has had on the ministry in his first year at the helm.

    Since his appointment, the Minister has been widely commended for his transformative leadership, which has brought about significant changes within the Ministry of Interior and its agencies. X users have shared their appreciation for the President through posts, media, and infographics, highlighting the effectiveness of Hon. Tunji-Ojo in implementing his eight-point agenda.

    This agenda includes enhancing passport services, strengthening border security, addressing insecurity, protecting national assets, and reforming correctional facilities, among other key initiatives.

    Among the celebrated achievements are the clearance of over 200,000 passport backlogs, the launch of the Safe Schools Initiative, and the successful decongestion of correctional facilities, which has led to the release of more than 4,000 inmates.

    Testimonials regarding the improved passport application and collection processes, shared by users, further emphasize the efficiency under the minister’s leadership.

    On X, Dr. Oladele, with the username @Ekitiketekan wrote: “We must appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as Minister of Interior. His performance has changed the notion that the position is to declare public holidays #ThankYouPBAT.”

    @officialmadeee expressed their gratitude, stating, “Thank you PBAT for giving us HM Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. He has brought immense changes to the Ministry of Interior. Nigerians are happy!”

    Similarly, @tanimolaomotayo praised the president, saying, “We can’t but say #ThankYouPBAT for giving us #RenewedHopeWithBTO. Achievements choke.”

    @odetoye41087 thanked President Tinubu for his decision, noting, “Thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a competent leader, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, as Minister of Interior. We appreciate it, sir.”

    Another user, @madamgag, extended heartfelt gratitude to the President, applauding Tunji-Ojo’s leadership in enhancing border security and driving significant reforms within the ministry.

    The hashtag #RenewedHopeWithBTO has also gained traction as Nigerians continue to celebrate the Minister’s accomplishments, attributing much of the progress to President Tinubu’s strategic appointment.
