With countdown to January 14 on the minds of many, some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to insist that ponzi scheme, MMM ‘Must Come Back’ as promised by its handlers.
It would be recalled that on 24 November, 2016 the scheme suspended its operations in Nigeria claiming that its system was experiencing heavy workload.
Handlers of the scheme then called for calm and promised that the scheme will be back and better by January 14.
“As usual, in the New Year season the System is experiencing heavy workload. Moreover, it has to deal with the constant frenzy provoked by the authorities in the mass media.
“The things are still going; the participants feel calm; everyone gets paid – as you can see here haven’t been any payment or other problems yet – but it is better to avoid taking risks.:-)) (Moreover, there are almost three weeks left to the New Year.),” the handlers said in a statement.
To make sure the handlers of the scheme keep their words, MMM participants in Nigeria have taken to Twitter to share their frustration.
But there are others who are having a go at the scheme as well.
Here are some tweets from the topic…
