The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 307 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Sunday.
The 307 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 10162.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 151 patients from isolation centers across the country with 14 new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 188 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 4943.
The Federal Capital Territory reported 44 new cases while Ogun recorded 19 and Kaduna state 14.
Other states are Bayelsa-9, Gombe-5, Kano-3, Delta-3, Imo-2, Rivers-2, Niger-2, Bauchi-2, Plateau-1 and Kwara-1.
NCDC reports that there are 10162 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 3007 discharged and 287 deaths.
