The Lagos State Government has promised to prosecute all 11 employees of 10 POTS Night Club for allegedly assaulting state inspectors and breaking the seals of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, and the property owners.

Tokunbo Wahab, the State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, revealed this on Sunday.

The commissioner commented in the aftermath of the arrest of 11 personnel mlf 10 POTS Night Club, four males and seven females, who were arrested after brutalizing state officials who had earlier sealed the premises for noise pollution.

Wahab promised that they would all be charged in relevant courts of law on Monday, as well as the property owner, to serve as a deterrent to anyone who might consider pursuing such criminal alternatives.

The arrested personnel allegedly removed the LASEPA seal that was used to protect the premises on Saturday, October 14, between 11.11 a.m. and 11.33 a.m., after enforcement efforts.

When LASEPA operatives returned to the club at 12.44 p.m., it had been reopened and was open for business.

“Attempts to reseal the premises were violently resisted by the staffers, inflicting bodily harm on state officials, necessitating the call for reinforcement of security,” Wahab stated.
