Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the national head of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), believes he would win the 2027 presidential election.

Kwankwaso, the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, made the outburst on Saturday when inaugurating the NNPP Secretariat on IBB Way in Katsina.

Recall that he was in Katsina to pay his condolences to the Yar’adua family following the death of their matriarch, Hajiya Dada.

According to him, the party is prepared to take over the president, states, and other offices throughout the country by 2027.

He emphasised that the party was poised for victory in the 2027 general elections.

He said, “I wish to remind you that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is already dead; because we were in the party, since they have gone out of the line, we decided to check out.”

He urged Nigerians, particularly women and youths, not to be ‘deceived with spagetti or money during the upcoming elections.’

Kwankwaso also urged party officials to redouble their commitment to the party’s success in the state and across the country.

He praised them and other stakeholders in the state for refurbishing the state secretariat, stating that it is part of the preparations for success.

The NNPP leader also promised to help a small kid named Abubakar Ibrahim from the Yammawa district of the state, who suffers from severe acute malnutrition.

Also addressing, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, the NNPP state chairman, stated that the party was doing everything necessary to inform the electorate about the party’s new logo.

According to him, the new emblem represents universal education, which is the Kwankwasiyya leader’s primary objective.

He said, ”There is the need for the party to embark on grassroots sensitisation to inform the members on the importance of the new logo.”
