Kidnappers abducted four family members in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

The abduction, which occurred at the Tundun Fulani extension area of the Bwari Area Council, happened around 1:30 am on Friday.

A local resident who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the abductors pushed their way into the family’s home to abduct the victims.

According to the resident, the abductors shot another person who fled being captured.

The source said, “There was a kidnapping incident in Tundun Fulani extension in Bwari around 1:30 am. The kidnappers were many and fully armed. The kidnappers broke into a house and kidnapped four members of the same family. They also shot one person who escaped being kidnapped. “

When reached, FCT command police spokesperson Josephine Adeh stated that the police were on top of the situation.

She said, “We responded swiftly. We are on top of the situation.”

There have been several cases of kidnapping in the Bwari area of the FCT in recent times.

Gunmen kidnapped 13 people from Piko, a small town in Abuja’s Bwari Area Council, during an incursion on May 8.

In July, Nathaniel, a resident of El-Rufai Estate in the Bwari Area of the FCT, was shot by kidnappers during a failed kidnapping attempt.

The kidnappers attempted to abduct many of the people before being stopped by FCT police operatives working with troops.
