Fresh from his return home on Saturday from a 10 working day vacation in London, President Muhammadu Buhari dropped a message to treasury looters and corrupt Nigerians.
In an interview with NTA, he gave an assurance that he would not spare anyone found guilty of any corrupt practice or sabotaging the nation’s economy.
Buhari who smiled as he answered the question said, “We are going to jail more of the thieves that brought more of the economy problem to the country,” he said.
Adding that, “I think this is really expected of me and I will do it,” he added.

Buhari, who was reacting to happenings during his absence, including the cases of defections by politicians, said the incidents were part of the beauty of democracy.
He, however, advised all eligible Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to enable them elect public officers of their choose.
Buhari’s presidential plane conveying the President and his aides landed at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 6.38p.m.
Buhari was received at the airport by Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, Service Chiefs and the Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari.
