Four pitbulls viciously assaulted a 28-year-old lady, leaving her with serious lower body injuries that led to her death.
As police arrived on the scene in Namibia Square, Bloemfontein, they discovered the woman had passed away from her wounds and was lying on the ground.
On the spot, Emergency Health Services workers pronounced her deceased.
In a heartbreaking turn of events, the local SPCA was able to rescue the fourth dog and its puppies, while the police had to put down three of the pitbulls.
