A disgruntled Nigerian husband has lamented the difficulties his pregnant wife faced during the October 2020 #EndSARS protest.
Speaking against the ills of protests, he lamented that his seven-month-old pregnant wife trekked from Maryland to Ikorodu as a result of roadblocks caused during the #EndSARS protest.
In a statement on X on Thursday, the husband mentioned that his heavily pregnant wife had gone to buy “baby things” from the popular Balogun market in Lagos State.
However, according to his claims, her bus was stopped by protesters and “everyone forced to disembark.”
He added that she suffered severe bleeding as a result of trekking such a long distance.
“Those protesters caused my 7-month pregnant wife to trek from Maryland to Ikorodu. She went to Balogun to buy baby things. They stopped her bus at Maryland and forced everyone to disembark. She arrived home and started bleeding,” he wrote.
He added that he will forever have a grudge against protests and protesters.
“I will forever have a score to settle,” the husband stated.
