The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has announced that its Chairman, Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa, is hale and hearty.
The anti-graft agency said this to clear the air on Bawa’s health after he slumped while giving a speech in the Presidential Villa.
He was said to have undergone medical treatment thereafter.
Spokesperson for the Commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, made this known in a statement in Abuja.
Chronicle NG reported that the EFCC boss slumped and was rushed out of the event earlier in the day.
“The Chairman was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, when he felt unwell and had to return to his seat.
“He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk,” Uwujaren said.
