Supporters of Mr. Peter Obi, who are better known as the “Obidients” have taken to social media to mock President Bola Tinubu’s aide Bayo Onanuga and other supporters of the President over a recent comment by Onanuga where he tagged the Labour Party presidential candidate as ‘Bitter Obi’.

Onanuga made the remark while sharing a statement on his X page issued by Nwachukwu Chigozie to berate Obi.

Chigozie berated the former governor of Anambra State for applauding a mayor in Canada who praised Lagos State and Nigeria in general.

However, Nigerians on social media particularly supporters of Peter Obi have made a brand fortune out of what was widely described as a derogatory remark by a presidential aide.

Flaunting pictures of an herbal drink branded after Peter Obi they claim the drink is a treatment to ‘BATeria’, a word coined out of the President’s names, almost synonymous with bacteria.

    • Bayo Onanuga calls Peter Obi ‘bitter Obi‘

“The truth is bitter. Bitters will cure your impotence. The truth will set you free, know it. Be free from Bulaba chains. Take Bitter Obi today. Be set free. Take one teaspoon three times daily. Cure your madness today.” Dr Ayo (@Olu Ayoola7D) said via his X handle.

“Bitter Obi is available in different sizes. The good part is, it is produced by our own (Omoluabi) Peter Olamilekan Abdulfatai Obi. Trust Bitter Obi with your country your body go sweet you.” another X user, Ambassador posted.

“I need this Bitter Obi in bulk, I wan share to my BATeria neighbor in my community, They need to cleanse themselves from these shege and Yama they are experiencing” Omo Ilorin (@Babanlawon) said.

“Bitter kola fights infections from the common cold to hepatitis. Bitter Obi fights BATeria from eBola.” Ocular Priest (@Dr. Obiefule) tweeted.
