Former President of the United States Barrack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama have announced their support for Kamala Harris’s presidential bid.
Obama made the announcement in a post on his verified X page on Friday.
“Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend @KamalaHarris. We told her we think she’ll make a fantastic President of the United States and that she has our full support.
“At this critical moment for our country, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure she wins in November. We hope you’ll join us,” he wrote.
Following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal and endorsement, the Vice President of the United States of America, Kamala Harris, accepted her nomination as the Democratic Party presidential candidate.
Harris described her endorsement as an honour. The VP said her intention was to earn and win this nomination.
“I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party, the VP said.
