Men of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, code-named Amotekun Corps, have raided a suspected robbers hideout in Akure, the state capital.
Several stolen items were seized during the operation, and five individuals, including a couple, were apprehended.
At around noon on Friday, the Amotekun corps tracked the suspects down to their home on Cannaanland Street in the Ijoka section of the city.
Before being apprehended, the suspects allegedly brought a car to transport the stolen things to another location.
Meanwhile, inhabitants of the area have been complaining about their property being taken, unaware that the criminals live on the same street as them.
Some of the residents came out to identify their properties among the exhibits confiscated from the accused.
Following that, the suspects were evacuated to the Amotekun headquarters in Akure for further investigation into the incident.
