Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) Legal Compliance Committee for over 1400 state and national elections.
At the inauguration on Monday at the Presidential Villa, the Vice President urged members of his party to be proactive, noting that he is confident they are up to the task.
On February 1, the Vice President presided over a planning meeting of the APC legal team.
The meeting was attended by ministers who are Senior Advocates of Nigeria: Mr. Babatunde Fashola and Mr. Festus Keyamo.
Also in attedance was the current APC National Legal Adviser Barr. Ahmed El-Marzuk his predecessor, Mr. Babatunde Ogala, SAN, and other party and government officials.
The APC legal team approached Prof. Osinbajo to discuss the party’s preparedness for the forthcoming elections.
In the forthcoming general elections, APC is contesting over 1400 elective positions at both federal and state levels across the country.
