Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has bragged about his wealth, saying it’s not “solely due to investments, but rather God’s blessings”.

The Afrobeats star, in an Instagram video shared by socialite Cubana Chief Priest, is seen enjoying himself with friends on a luxurious jet.

In the footage, the ‘Assurance’ hitmaker boasted that his level of wealth cannot be attained solely through investments.

“This is not about investment. God has to be the one to bless you,” he said.

Davido rose to fame in 2012 after releasing ‘Dami Duro,’ the second single from his debut album ‘Omo Baba Olowo’.

He has since established a name for himself as one Africa’s leading artistes as well as one of the Afrobeats ‘Big Three’.

Since his debut album, he has delivered three other projects including ‘A Good Time’ (2019), ‘A Better Time‘ (2020), and ‘Timeless’ (2023).

The singer is set to release ‘5ive’, his fourth studio album, in April. He also recently announced a 5-city tour ahead of the body of work.

Davido is also the founder of DMW, a record label established in April 2016. The music label has served as home to a plethora of music talents.
