Manchester United defeated Barnsley 7-0 at Old Trafford in the third round of the 2024 Carabao Cup.
Erik ten Hag’s team was led by Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, who each scored two goals.
Rashford opened the scoring with an early goal, followed by a penalty conversion from Antony, and Garnacho added another before halftime, making it 3-0.
Following the break, United continued their attack, with Garnacho and Rashford scoring again, before Christian Eriksen sealed the victory with two late goals.
This resounding victory propels Manchester United into the next round of the competition, with their forthcoming matches scheduled to continue on numerous fronts.
The fourth round draw will take place on Wednesday.
