    Two rollercoaster trains collided with each other at a theme park in southern Germany, injuring over 30 passengers, two of whom had serious injuries.

    At the Legoland theme park in Gunzburg, one rollercoaster train abruptly braked, according to a report from the German news agency dpa.

    At least 34 persons were hurt, prompting the dispatch of three helicopters along with the need for fire and rescue services.

    How the collision occurred was not immediately apparent.

    According to a park representative, it happened in the Fire Dragon ride’s station.

    Three helicopters were sent to the scene, alongside fire and rescue services.

    The rollercoaster has a minimum age of six for accompanied children, and eight for those riding on their own.

    Last week, a woman died in another rollercoaster accident in an amusement park in Klotten in southwest Germany.

    The 57-year-old woman fell out of the rollercoaster as it was moving and died of her injuries. The cause of the accident has not yet been identified.
