    The Lagos State Judicial Panel on Restitution for Victims of SARS-related Abuses and Other Matters, sitting in Lekki, is set to compensate some victims of police brutality.

    Chronicle NG sources said the panel had contacted victims who are equally present at its ongoing proceedings. More so, the Moyosore Onigbanjo, Commissioner of Justice, had been sighted in the hearing room, confirming the impending event.

    The Panel led by a retired judge, Doris Okuwobi, began sitting in October 2020.

    The Panel was set up by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu following a directive by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to governors across the country.
