Khamenei hails Iran’s 'victory' over US, Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, has taken to X with a barrage of bold claims, declaring what he called a “victory” over both Israel and the United States amid heightened regional tensions.

“I offer my congratulations on the victory over the fallacious Zionist regime,” he wrote in one of several posts.

Khamenei accused Israel of collapsing under the weight of Iranian retaliation, saying it had been “practically knocked out and crushed under the blows of the Islamic Republic.”

He extended similar declarations toward the United States, which he claimed entered the conflict to rescue Israel but failed in its efforts.

“The US regime… achieved nothing,” he said, asserting that Iran struck Al-Udeid Air Base—a key US military site in Qatar—inflicting significant damage.

“The Islamic Republic delivered a heavy slap to the US’s face,” he declared.

Khamenei warned that Iran holds the ability to strike American assets across the region at will, a threat he said would become reality if provoked.

“Should any aggression occur, the enemy will definitely pay a heavy price.”

He also rebuffed remarks from the US President reportedly demanding Iran’s surrender: “Needless to say, this statement is too big to come out of the US president’s mouth.”

Turning his attention inward, the Supreme Leader praised national unity, saying Iran’s 90 million people stood together in support of the armed forces: “A unified voice will be heard from this nation,” he said, hailing the population’s “exceptional character.”

He concluded with a final warning to Israel: “Attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran will result in a heavy cost.”

The provocative posts come at a time of mounting regional instability. Khamenei’s rhetoric signals a more aggressive tone from Tehran—one that is likely to alarm both Washington and Tel Aviv.
