Harry Kane came off the bench to score a hat trick as Bayern Munich demolished 10-man Stuttgart.
The England forward played only 27 minutes before scoring his third hat-trick of the Bundesliga season.
It brings the striker’s total to 28 goals in all competitions after only 22 appearances.
Konrad Laimer scored after 10 minutes, expertly flicking a Michael Olise cross past Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Nubel.
The hosts replied brilliantly, with Nikolas Nartey scoring just before halftime, but his header was deemed offside.
With the margin thin, Bayern manager Vincent Kompany made a triple substitution on the hour mark, including top scorer Kane.
And it only took five minutes for the England captain to score a superb strike into the bottom corner from 25 yards.
Fellow replacement Josip Stanisic made it three before Kane scored his second and Bayern’s fourth from the penalty spot after defender Lorenz Assignon received a straight red card for deliberate handball.
The 32-year-old completed his hat trick in the 87th minute, getting in front of his marker and poking home Olise’s cross from close range.
Kane now has 17 Bundesliga goals this season, nine more than his closest contender for the Golden Boot, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jonathan Burkardt.
Bayern’s next Champions League match is against Portuguese champions Sporting on Tuesday, 9 December (17:45 GMT), while Stuttgart will face Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Europa League on Thursday.
