    Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will not make any signings in January and instead try and resolve new contracts for Chile winger Alexis Sanchez, 28, Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil, 28, France striker Olivier Giroud, 30, French midfielder Francis Coquelin, 25, and Spain midfielder Santi Cazorla, 32.     But Sanchez is being urged to continue his contract stand-off with Arsenal until the summer by Paris St-Germain with the Ligue 1 side hoping to sign the winger for £60m. (Daily Mirror)

    Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will try and sign Germany defender Holger Badstuber, 27, on a six-month loan deal from his former club Bayern Munich. (Sun)
