Brothers Khephren and Marcus Thuram scored for opposing teams as Juventus beat Inter Milan 4-3 in a Serie A thriller.

The siblings – sons of ex-France international Lilian Thuram – had netted within six minutes of each other to leave the score at 3-3 with eight minutes left in the Derby d’Italia.

However, substitute Vasilije Adzic secured the points for Juventus when with a long-range effort in injury time.

The home side’s third successive win continued their perfect start to the Serie A season, while Inter are on three points after a second straight defeat under new coach Cristian Chivu.

Former Bournemouth and Newcastle defender Lloyd Kelly scored his first league goal for Juventus in the 14th minute when he side-footed a low volley into the corner.

But Hakan Calhanoglu got Inter back on level terms when he swept the ball home from distance on the half-hour mark, before Kenan Yildiz responded for the hosts eight minutes later with a powerful low drive.

Calhanoglu equalised for a second time with a a stunning volley from the edge of the penalty area in the 65th minute.

With 14 minutes left, forward Marcus Thuram headed Inter in front for the first time from a corner.

However, the 28-year-old’s younger sibling – by four years – midfielder Khephren nodded in a free-kick at the other end.

Juve bagged the winner in the first minute of stoppage time when 19-year-old Adzic fired home a stunning 30-yard strike.

“After the goal, Marcus said, ‘well done’, with the eyes of a brother, but he wasn’t laughing,” Kephren told DAZN.

“He teases me about headers, and so does dad, so today I’m happy.”
