Jane Edidiong Ufot, daughter of Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, has levelled explosive accusations against her father in a disturbing video circulating on social media.

In the emotional clip, she claims her mother—Patience Umo Eno, who passed away in September 2024 after a mystery illness—was “sacrificed” and warns she fears for her own life and that of her young daughter.

“I’m not a sacrifice. Mummy was, but I’m not,” Mrs Ufot said in a trembling voice, her anger and fear palpable. She served as a senior special adviser to the governor on health, safety, and environment but now alleges a sinister threat looming over her.

In a dramatic moment, she handed the phone to her daughter, who appeared to be on a video call with Governor Eno. Prompted by her mother, the child asked, “Grandpa, do you want them to kill us? Do you want them to die like my baby brother died?”

No audible response came from the governor, and it remains unclear who the child meant by “them.”

Mrs Ufot hinted at damning revelations yet to surface and stated bluntly that if she or her daughter were to die, it would not be in vain. “If I die today or my daughter dies—if we die because God is exposing the truth, so be it. But my blood will not go scot-free,” she warned.

Repeated attempts to reach Governor Eno for comment were unsuccessful. His media aide, Ekerete Udoh, could not be contacted, as his line remained switched off.
