Big Brother Naija, BBNaija season 6 housemate, Boma, has revealed that he never wanted to ruin Tega’s marriage.

According to him, he had decided with Tega to put on a good show for the fans since most of the housemates were boring.

Boma disclosed this during his his post eviction interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host.

Tega in a separate post-eviction interview, corroborated Boma’s claim that they were only acting according to script.

Boma added that Tega was the boys’ favorite and the boys felt she was better than other girls.

“Tega was the boys’ favorite. She will make daring jokes, we felt she was better than most girls, because we felt girls were lying that they were single.” He said.

“I and Tega saw that the house was boring, people were always sleeping, so we decided to give the viewers a show. We felt we could be a standard performer.

“I did not feel I should step back because she was married but now I see. It is late, I am human but my intention was not to take a married woman away from her husband.”

Tega and Boma were evicted on Sunday after securing the lowest votes in the house.

Some Nigerians have taken to social media to express their pleasure at their eviction stating that adultery was not really good content.

Tega’s husband who spoke during an Instagram live session with Tunde Ednut, said he would give his wife a second chance only if she apologised for her actions.

He said he has no plan of turning his back on Tega if she takes responsibility for her action in the house as this will be the first time she will be involved in such.

“I know Tega knows what she did was very bad but she needs us more than ever. I don’t think I should abandon her because she needs me.” He said.

“We are all humans and we all sin and God forgives us. I wouldn’t throw her away. She’s my wife and such things come with marriage.

“There’s no perfect marriage. We’ve not had issues for the past four years. I don’t think I should abandon her now

“This is a time she needs me, if she comes back and apologises and takes responsibility, I’ll give her a second chance but if she insists that what she did in the house was okay, I’ll let her go.”

Tega’s husband also asked Nigerians to pray for their family and marriage.
