    Hon. Pally Iriase nominates same 1km road project for N30m, then N30m and N20m

    Honourable Pally Iriase has nominated one kilometer road project for three consecutive years since 2016 for a whooping N80 million.

    Tracka, a transparency and accountability platform tracked the project nominated by Hon. Iriase, a member of the House of Representative representing Owan East/West Federal Constituency.

    In 2016, the project was captured in the budget under the ministry of Science and domiciled under NBRRI (Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute) as the construction of 1km Olilah road in Otuo, Owan East LGA, Edo state for N30m.

    The project was executed in 2016 but stopped halfway.

    In 2017, the project was recaptured as ongoing under Benin Owena River Basin Development Agency for N30m, and Tracka reported the project as completed as at 2017.

    In 2018, the project appeared again under Benin Owena River Basin Development Agency for N20m, Tracka team report this project as completed.

    “We tracked the construction of Olilah road in Owan East LGA,Edo state.

    “This road construction was first captured in 2016 budget for N30m and work started and stopped, recaptured in 2017 as completion for N30m and appeared in 2018 for another N20m.

    “This project has been completed,” Tracka said in a tweet.
