Galatasaray have signed Ivory Coast defender Wilfried Singo from AS Monaco for $36.06 million, the Turkish Super Lig club said on Thursday.
Additionally, Galatasaray will pay 10% of any future resale profit to French side Monaco.
The 24-year-old Singo, who has 31 caps for the Ivory Coast national team, has signed a five-year contract on a salary of 4.8 million euros per season.
“An agreement has been reached with AS Monaco Football Club regarding the transfer of professional footballer Wilfried Stephane Singo,” the Galatasaray said on their social media platform.
“The transfer fee of the net amount of €30,769,230.77 will be paid to the former club of the player.”
“In addition, 10% of the profit from the next sale of the player will be paid to AS Monaco Football Club.”
“A five-year contract has been signed with the player, valid from the 2025-2026 football season,” the club added.
