Funke Akindele, the famous Nollywood actress turned politician, has deleted all political-related posts from her Instagram page.
Akindele, the running mate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Lagos State governorship candidate Abdulazeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, deleted the posts hours after her defeat.
All of her political appearances during the campaign, as well as photos from her campaign rallies, were missing.
This follows the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, defeating the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the recently concluded March 18, 2023, gubernatorial elections.
Sanwo Olu won with 762,134 votes, defeating the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, who scored 312,329, followed by Abdul-Azeez Adediran with 62,449 votes.
