The Lights, Camera, AFRICA!!! Film Festival returns for its eight edition from 28th to 30th September and feelers coming from the organisers point to the fact that it’s going to be lit.

Why? We already have 5 reasons why you can’t afford to miss the best film festival in Naija.

1: It asks a profound question: “Who Do You Think You Are?” It was Socrates who said “man know thy self.” Do you know yourself as a person, as an African and as a black man? Come discover a few truths and fresh insights

    2. Where did Pan-Africanism go? The fight against colonialism and apartheid fostered a strong African bond. With globalization and emigration, that bond seems broken. What happened? Attend LCA 2018 and find answers.

    3. 3 days makes a long weekend. It starts Friday September 28th and culminates on Sunday September 30th. Monday is a public holiday so the after party is going to be awesome.

    4. Films, Films, and more Films. At LCA, expect the best films from the best directors from the most unlikely of places. The surprise is the thing. So, come ready to be blown away.

    5. There is a new venue. The MUSON Center is , well, the CENTER of all things arts and this year the Lights Camera Africa 2018 moves from Federal Palace to Muson. Expect a different vibe.
