The summer transfer window is open and teams across Europe are already making moves. Everton are looking to capture the signing of Paul Pogba’s brother Florentin.

Here are some of the biggest stories from the European media…

    France

Everton are considering a move for Paul Pogba’s brother Florentin. The Premier League side are hoping to strengthen their defence and the Saint-Etienne man is a possible target. However, they will face competition from last season’s Bundesliga runners-up RB Leipzig. (Jeune Afrique)

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to launch a bid for Kylian Mbappe, who is also wanted by Real Madrid. The 18-year-old sensation shone for Monaco last season, but could move on this summer as relations between the two Ligue 1 clubs are good. (L’Equipe)

Marseille are looking to replace Bafetimbi Gomis, whose loan from Swansea City has expired. However, a move for out of favour Chelsea striker Diego Costa is unlikely. The Spaniard is seen to be financially not viable due to his probable salary demands. (Le10Sport)

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez could leave this summer, though a move to Paris Saint-Germain is not on the cards. The Chilean is more likely to join reigning German champions Bayern Munich. (Le10Sport)

Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez has confirmed that the club can afford to spend big this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti widely believed to be their primary target. However, Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin and Borussia Dortmund forward Ousmane Dembele are also on the Catalan giants’ shortlist. (Marca)

Manchester United target James Rodriguez’s future could in fact lie with Chelsea. Antonio Conte wants the Colombian and his Real Madrid team-mate Alvaro Morata to take the places of Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa respectively. However, Morata may instead choose a move to Old Trafford. (AS)

Pep Guardiola is keen to sign Alex Grimaldo as he looks to solve Manchester City’s full-back problems. The 21-year-old Benfica left-back came through Barcelona’s famed youth academy and thus would theoretically would adapt well to Guardiola’s tactical ideals. (Sport)

Porto striker Andre Silva has arrived in Italy for a medical ahead of a proposed move to AC Milan. The Portuguese hitman is on the verge of becoming the Rossoneri’s fourth signing of the summer, following on from the additions of Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Manchester City target Gianluigi Donnarumma is set to renew with AC Milan. The 18-year-old goalkeeper has also attracted interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid, but he would prefer to remain at the San Siro. (Corriere dello Sport)

With Lucas Biglia purportedly soon to join AC Milan, Lazio are keen on Middlesbrough defensive midfielder Marten de Roon. The Dutchman has Serie A experience having previously played for Atalanta. (Corriere dello Sport)

    Germany

RB Leipzig star Emil Forsberg has refused to clarify where he will be next season. Amid rumoured interest from AC Milan, the Swede stated: “This is a big club, one of the largest in the world. They have a very interesting project, they want to go back to the throne.” (Sport Bild)

Schalke have confirmed their interest in Arsenal target Amine Harit. The 19-year-old made over 30 appearances for Nantes last season and would command a transfer fee of between €12m and €15m. (Kicker)
