Already-qualified Belgium continued their flawless record in Euro 2020 qualifying with a routine 2-0 win at eliminated Kazakhstan in Group I.

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi tucked in Leicester midfielder Dennis Praet’s low cross to put the team ranked as the world’s best nation ahead.

They doubled their advantage when Eden Hazard found Thomas Meunier with a pinpoint cross-field pass to fire home.

Belgium continued to dominate but could not find a way past the resolute hosts.

Roberto Martinez’ side have scored 30 goals and conceded just one on their way to winning all eight of their qualifying matches.

Second-placed Russia can clinch their place alongside the Belgians at next summer’s finals with a draw in Cyprus later, while Scotland host San Marino with both already unable to qualify automatically from the group.
