Actress and comedian, Wofai Fada, has refuted claims of being 38-years-old amidst controversies surrounding her recent engagement with Taiwo Cole.
Fada who celebrates her birthday today took to her Instagram page to share her birthday pictures.
She wrote, “This particular month is so special to me because it emphasises the essentials of a happy life, laughter, love, and adventure. “THIS IS 34👅. Happy birthday, Ekpe! Yatata!”
Recall that there were controversies surrounding her marriage to Taiwo Cole, following the couple’s traditional wedding held in Cross River State, when the Cole’s family denounced the engagement in a viral disclaimer.
In the statement issued by the family patriarch, Kunle Cole, the family dissociated themselves from the union, saying they were unaware of the marriage plans and did not grant consent or support.
There were also questions on social media concerning Wofai Fada’s age, with claims that her in-laws revealed she was 38 years old and older than their 30-year-old son.
