Nollywood actor Junior Pope has reportedly survived the boat mishap, which was reported to have claimed his life and that of three other actors.
The actor reportedly died in a boat mishap while crossing the River Niger to a shooting location.
Videos posted by the actor before the boat accident showed the perplexed actor complaining about the speed of the boat.
Confirming the unfortunate incident, the Delta State Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Emma Onyemeziem, said the corpse had been deposited in the mortuary.
However, videos making the rounds on social media show the actor being resuscitated by rescuers at the bank of the river.
He is reportedly being taken to a yet-to-be-disclosed hospital, where he is responding to treatment.
