Sean “Diddy” Combs has publicly commended Kanye West for his support following West’s plea for Diddy’s release from incarceration.
West, in a series of tweets on X late Thursday, tagged US President Donald Trump and requested help, writing, “Please free my brother Puff.”
He also announced plans for a Yeezy clothing collaboration with Diddy’s Sean John business, stating, “I’m selling a Sean John collaboration that my brother and I discussed before he was locked up.” We split the profits 50/50.”
Combs’ Instagram account, which is believed to be handled by his family, responded on Friday with a copy of West’s post and the remark, “Thank you to my brother @Ye,” as well as a link to the Yeezy website.
Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York City, since his arrest last year on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution.
The hip-hop star pleaded not guilty to the sex trafficking charges placed against him and has been denied bail.
