Afrobeats icons D’banj and Don Jazzy have revealed that they are working together on a new album called “The Entertainer D’Sequel.”
This album, which is a follow-up to D’banj’s 2008 album of the same name, is slated for release on August 16, 2024. It will include remixes of popular songs including “Fall in Love,” “Igwe,” “Feli Feli,” and “Suddenly.”
Fans have been eagerly awaiting this reunion, which emphasises the duo’s significant impact on the music business since the early 2000s.

Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, D’Banj rose to prominence working with Don Jazzy at then Mo’Hits Records, a music label they co-founded.
Also known as the Kokomaster or Bangalee, his first album, No Long Thing, was released in 2005. It included hit song Tongolo.
On the global stage, D’Banj has worked with Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Rita Ora, amongst others.
He is also the founder of the Koko Foundation for Youth and Peace Development and Nigeria’s first United Nations Youth Ambassador for Peace.
Since the split, Don Jazzy founded Mavin Records which has had some of Nigerians finest singers on its label including Rema, Ayra Starr, Ladipoe, and Korede Bello.
