66th Grammys: Burna Boy, Davido lose to South Africa's Tyla

Nigerian Grammy Award winner Burna Boy has berated his colleague David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, over his unending babymama drama.

Burna Boy, in a series of replies on X on Friday, mocked Davido for being at loggerheads with the mother of his baby, Sophia Momodu, over the custody of their daughter, Imade.

Burna Boy made the derogatory statement when an X user advised him to emulate Davido by marrying and raising his children.

“Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family,” the X user advised.

“OBO (Davido) has already set an example. You’re (Burna Boy) over 33 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger,” the X user added.

Replying to the ‘unsolicited’ advice, the Angelina crooner, in a statement in pidgin, mentioned that he doesn’t want to face what Davido is facing.

“Baba, make i just dey as i dey abeg, you nor see wetin him dey face like dis?” Burna querried.

He also added that Davido is not a good example to emulate in matters relating to marriage and romance.

He, however, mentioned that his colleague Adekunle Gold, who is married to Nigerian singer Simi, is a good example of a faithful husband deviating from babymam dramas.

Chronicle NG reported that Davido dragged his baby mama, Sophia Momodu, to court, demanding joint custody of their daughter, Imade.
