Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly called Bobrisky, has thrown a release party on a boat cruise in Lagos, the country’s commercial state.
Bobrisky, who was incarcerated for spraying the Nigerian currency, the naira, at a party, was seen in the company of female friends as they celebrated his release from prison.
Wearing a black gown, he had his face and hair made and was seated among his friends, many of whom wore white.
He also flaunted bottles of Hennessy on the boat cruise, celebrating his release in grand style.
Bobrisky was released on Monday after spending six months in incarceration for spraying and abusing the naira at parties.
Speaking in an interview after his release, Bobrisky said, “Follow the rules; abide by the law. Don’t spray money, unless you’ll be a landlord inside Kirikiri.”
He added, “It’s not just about killing or any criminal activity; something light like this can take you there.
“I’m only focusing on my friends who were there for me, and I’m grateful. I’m not thinking about any other person.”
