Basketmouth and one of his best pals shared a photo of Nomoreless, with the touching words, “You will be remembered forever, bro. Continue to rest in peace.”

Nikki Laoye also remembered her ‘big brother 1 year already… I remember you today, bros mi as always… Big brothers like you are very rare and I thank God for all you were to me from day one. When I started my musical career as Nikki Laoye in 2006, you were always right there to advise, bug me, and encourage me all the way, all through the years. Losing you hurt real bad.. It still does but I know you are in a better place where there’s no more pain or sorrow. I just miss you.So many memories and I keep them all close in my heart. Your infectious smile as captured your pictures always bring a smile to mine.”

Rapper Ill Bliss wrote, “How Time Flies… exactly a year today since we lost you homie. I know you are in Heaven smiling down. May your soul keep resting in eternal peace.”

Nomoreloss hit the limelight in 2002, after he featured in Ruggedman’s classic cut ‘Ehen’. Prior to that, he was a presenter on the music TV show ‘Groovoidz.’ In 2006, he released his debut album, ‘Let Them Say’, and in 2015, he released his ‘Grass to Grace’ song. He wrote Jaywon’s hit song, ‘This Year’, in 2012. In 2014, he dropped the albums; ‘Standing,’ and ‘Then and Now.
