Owoyemi Qudus Adebayo, a final year student in the Department of Statistics of the University of Ilorin is attempting to reak the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to complete five skin fades.

The sit-out event which holds on Wednesday January 24 2024 is scheduled to hold at the  University’s Student Union Building.

Owoyemi who once contested for the presidency of the university‘s Student Union Government stated his aim at attempting the Guinness World Record was to showcase his exceptional barbing skills first to the institution and to the global community.

“It’s not just about the record but to inspire someone to push their own boundaries, to embrace their unique abilities and then that’s the ultimate reward.

“Its about the journey, the exploration and the hope that by pushing my limit, I can illuminate the potentials within others. That’s what truly ignite my passion for this swift barbing challenge” Owoyemi said.
