Social media influencer Reno Omokri has advised against showing generosity to people using luxury phones like iPhones.

In a statement on X, Omokri described as stupidity the helping of people who use more expensive gadgets.

”It is not generosity if you financially assist someone who asked you for help using an iPhone when you prudently use a Samsung. That is stupidity,” he said.

He also urged Nigerians not to feel sorry for people who make poor monetary decisions.

”Do not easily feel sorry for supposedly poor people. Many people are poor financially because they are not pure monetarily.

”They have iPhones, listen to music on AirPods, and watch matches on DSTV, but they do not have money to eat? If you believe that, you can believe anything.

”Your failure to prioritise your spending should not become my emergency. I cannot be sacrificing to invest and then give money to you who are luxuriating with the little you have. Stop being nice and start being wise,” Omokri advised.
