The Northern Youths are appealing to President Bola Tinubu to appoint Dada Olusegun as the Minister of Youths.

The Northern Progressive Caucus is specifically appealing to the president, Bola Tinubu, and all APC governors to be united behind Segun Dada’s leadership skills for the office of the minister of youths.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the forum spokesperson, Ismail Adam, said all the young men and women from the zones across this country have resolved to support his appointment as he has served in various capacities of the Buhari administration and now the Tinubu-led administration. I am currently serving as a special assistant to the president on social media.

Not only is he the best bet for the position, but he has what it takes because he ran a focus-based campaign for the emergence of Asiwaju and has actually yielded a positive political shaping of youth inclusion in governance.

Dada Olusegun is a communication strategist and youngster advocate whose passion for youngster inclusion in politics and governance hibernates the will and has formed the basis to chart the policy drive and execute a template on inclusiveness for progressive youngster in Nigeria.

We also stand firm in our belief that Dada is well qualified to continue the foundations of carrying youths in political exposure and awareness valued by the convergence of the PBAT Media Centre, with whom this office has recorded tremendous progress for the youths and campaign struggles for the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

    • Nigerian youths be patient, I will give you loans – Tinubu

While appealing for support and understanding of the Tinubu-led administration, the forum is hoping the president will consider a progressive youngster who has sacrificed his entire political career to serve the party since its inception.

The position of the forum is that the president should consider Dada as someone who has a better grip on age, social status, and understanding of the party and the grievances of the youngsters. It also called on young men and women in the party and Nigeria at large to see the need to support the aspirations of allowing Segun Dada to take the mantle of running the youth ministry as he has shown that he is capable from and after the campaigns. And has the leadership focus to grasp and man the booth of progression.

He is a progressive ally, one that has shaped the political lives of many youths from every region of the country.

There’s no doubt that the youth represent the second-largest demography after the women in our great party; it then becomes imperative to make our stance known on the youth ministry quest of the largest ruling political party in Africa,” Ismail said.
